What People Say
"When I heard about SmartSHE’s financial literacy training, I was skeptical at first. As the MD of Peazyglam Fashions, an Afrocentric brand in the heart of Port Harcourt, I thought I already had a decent understanding of managing money. But taking their course in June changed my perspective entirely. I learned how to track expenses, manage cash flow, and plan for growth.
In July, I took a microloan of ₦100,000 from SmartSHE to buy fabrics and expand my product line. By August, not only had I fully repaid the loan, but I also saw a 50% increase in my profits!
Today, Peazyglam Fashions is thriving, and I’m passionate about sharing my experience with other women in my community. I tell them, 'If you want to grow your business and secure your future, start with SmartSHE.' They don’t just offer loans—they empower you with the skills to make the most of them."

MD of Peazyglam Fashions“Before I joined SmartSHE, managing my finances was a real challenge. As a mother of three and a fashion designer, I struggled to keep my business afloat, especially when unexpected expenses would come up.
In April, I enrolled in SmartSHE’s financial literacy training, and it changed everything. I learned how to budget, save, and even track my business income and expenses. By May, I was able to borrow ₦200,000 from SmartSHE’s microloan program to buy quality fabric and new sewing equipment.
I’m proud to say I repaid the loan by July! Now, I have more customers, better control over my finances, and even savings for emergencies. I’m so grateful for this program, and I encourage other women in my community to take this step – it’s life-changing!”

Fashion Designer & Mother of ThreeWe met a remarkable woman named Miss Judith, who resides in a local community in Woji, Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Despite her dreams of starting a small business, she lacked the confidence and resources to take the first step.
Inspired by her determination and potential, we decided to mentor her. We provided:
- Basic Digital and Financial Literacy Training
- Guidance and Support
- Access to Micro-financing
Over time, Judith not only launched her palm-oil business but also became a role model for other women in her community. Today, she employs four other women, creating opportunities and inspiring growth within her community.
